Dr. Billie Means
Dr. Means completed her bachelor’s degree at Iowa State University with a major in art and minor in architecture. Her dental degree is from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Upon graduation, she did her post-graduate study in Orthodontics at the University of Minnesota.
Before joining the team at 6 Day Dental, Dr. Means had her own private practice for over 20 years. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. She has been a member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association for most of her practicing years. She is also a member of the Denton County Dental Society of Study Club.
Dr. Means is married to her high school sweetheart, Randy Means. Randy was a Systems Engineer for IBM before taking early retirement; he then taught and coached for the Carrollton independence School district for many years. They have two children: Jason, who is a Forensic Specialist for Bank of America and Andrea, who is a Medical Doctor at Baylor, and six very active grandchildren.
She has attended church at Garden Ridge Church of Christ for 35 years. Dr. Means and family have been a part of many organizations doing missionary trips throughout the years, traveling to many foreign countries to provide dental and medical care. For the past eight years, she has been a member of Serving Him; traveling to Guatemala once a year. In her spare time (which is limited) she enjoys artwork and sewing and supporting her grandchildren’s and children’s numerous activities.
Dr. Neelima Vadlapatla
Dr. Neelima Vadlapatla comes from a family of doctors and dentists who inspired her into a career in healthcare. As she got older, she decided to study dentistry in order to have the ability to make a person feel beautiful through their smile. Dr. Vadlapatla has been working in the dental field for over ten years. She dedicates herself to providing quality care in a comfortable environment while motivating patients to maintain good oral hygiene and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Vadlapatla studied at the College of Dental Sciences in India and graduated in 2002. She earned her degree at the University of Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in California in 2006.
Dr. Vadlapatla enjoys educating patients about the importance of maintaining their oral health, thoroughly explaining each step of the treatment process and encouraging patients to ask questions. Dr. Vadlapatla routinely performs complex dental procedures such as full-mouth reconstructions, multiple-unit bridges, Veneers, Implants, etc. She believes in treating every patient like a family member, accepting no compromises and providing the best care possible.
In her spare time, Dr. Vadlapatla enjoys reading books, traveling and spending time with her family. She has two very active boys that keep her on her toes. She also likes to participate in community events whenever she gets the opportunity.
Dr. Jiwon Kang
Dr. Jiwon Kang completed his undergraduate studies in both Computer Science and Biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating Summa Cum Laude, with highest honors. He studied dentistry at State University of New York at Buffalo, and then continued with his General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Kang has both private practice and hospital-based dentistry experience and enjoys staying up-to-date with all new dental technologies and skills. His philosophy is minimal dentistry is the best dentistry. He lives in Coppell with his wife and 10-year-old son.
Dr. Edwina Evangelista
Dr. Edwina Evangelista is a dentist specializing in general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry for men, women, and children. She is dedicated to ensuring her patients' receive quality dental care in a compassionate and professional environment, striving to meet the dental needs of local families. Dr. Evangelista was awarded "Talk of The Town" for consecutive years, as well as the Patient's Choice Award in 2012.
Dr. Evangelista graduated from the College of Dentistry at the University of the East. She remains committed to fulfilling her dental education and advancing her knowledge. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the International Association of Orthodontics.
Dr. E loves to work out and always finds time to work exercise into her weekly routine while away from her dental office. She also enjoys making homemade candles, gorgeous custom flower arrangements, and enjoys cooking gourmet food.
