Keeping your smile natural and beautiful is our number one priority. Our doctors have taken many hours of continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry in order to provide you with the most up-to-date treatment. Working together, our dental, orthodontic and surgical specialty teams create customized plans to fit your needs. As part of our Total Patient Care approach, we offer a complete range of restorative services:
Tooth-Colored Restorations
We utilize tooth-colored composite resin to fill cavities without compromising your all-white smile. In the past, dark amalgam was the preferred filling material because of its strength, though it contains trace amounts of hazardous mercury. Modern innovations have resulted in a strong, lasting composite resin that is free from heavy metals.
Crowns, Onlays & Inlays
Dental crowns, onlays, and inlays can restore strength, function, and appearance to a tooth compromised by extensive decay or damage. All-white restorations will maintain a dazzling smile while ensuring optimal oral health. We may suggest a porcelain-fused-to-metal crown in areas of the mouth that incur great pressure, but these, too, appear tooth-colored.
Dentures & Partial Dentures
Missing teeth can make you appear older than your years, reduce your self-esteem, and affect your diet and speech. At 6 Day, we offer natural-looking full and partial dentures that feel fabulous.
Locked-in Dentures (with mini-implants)
For a secure and snug fit, consider mini-implants. These small posts anchor into the jawbone to create a solid foundation for dentures. We can place mini-implants in a single visit, so you'll enjoy the benefits immediately.
Crown & Bridgework
Replace one or more missing teeth with crown and bridgework for a full, bright smile that you can be proud of. A bridge is one (or more) prosthetic teeth that anchors to two crowns on either side of the space it fills. Bridges are custom-made in a dental lab to blend with your natural dentition in shape and color.
Root Canals
A root canal, also known as endodontic therapy, replaces damaged nerve/pulp in a tooth's canal with a man-made substance. If a dentist indicates that you need a root canal, in most cases the only other option is to extract the tooth. Keeping your natural dentition intact is the best choice for your smile because your teeth fit together like a puzzle. Removing or replacing a tooth could cause misalignment of your bite. Modern root canal procedures, combined with advances in anesthesia like oral sedation, make the process more comfortable than ever.
Dental Implants
For a smile like nature intended, replace missing teeth with secure and reliable dental implants. If you have sufficient bone tissue and good oral health, dental implants can replace your missing teeth and give you a smile so strong that you'll be eating steak, apples, and corn on the cob! First, we place small titanium posts into the sockets left by missing teeth. Titanium is biocompatible (accepted by the body), so bone tissue grows around the post to form a solid prosthetic tooth root. Then, we fabricate and attach lifelike crowns to the dental implants resulting in a smile which looks and feels completely natural.
Please note, every patient’s case is different; your dentist will discuss all options suitable to your needs at your dental appointment.
