Periodontal Therapy

Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is the leading cause of adult tooth loss in the United States. Early warning signs include red, swollen gums that bleed when you brush your teeth. Because the symptoms may be painless, many people do not recognize the problem. During your thorough hygiene exam at 6 Day, we will assess your gums for signs of periodontal disease. We may recommend non-surgical therapy for early-stage gum disease or specialized care by our in-house periodontist for advanced cases. At 6 Day, periodontal services include:

• Periodontal Charting and Diagnostic Services
• In-Office Periodontal Therapy by a Periodontist
• Non-Surgical Gum Treatment (scaling and root planing)
