FAQ's About Dental Implants?

What are dental implants and how do they work?
Dental implants are permanent replacements for missing teeth. They are most often made of titanium and consist of an anchor or root (the implant) and an abutment and crown (the prosthetic)s.

The dental implant is surgically placed into your jawbone, under your gums, and actually encourages your bone to attaché to it. This secures the implant into your jaw.

The prosthetic is attached to the integrated dental implant to complete your new smile. They can be used to support single teeth (mini dental implant, aka, MDI), bridges, and dentures.
